Karachi [January 10]: Atlas Battery Limited (ABL), one of the leading battery manufacturers in Pakistan received the Integrated Management Systems Certifications by Bureau Veritas Pakistan which includes

ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems certification (QMS)

ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems (EMS)

BS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS)

The certification is a noteworthy milestone in ABL’s journey to becoming a consumer-centric organization and achieving excellence that complements its 50-year legacy of producing highest standards and superior quality products. The certification also reflects the company’s commitment to bringing a constant improvement in its systems and processes to achieve maximum output while reducing the environmental impact of its manufacturing facility.

The certification is awarded after a thorough process followed by a team of independent auditors who analyze the company’s policies and management systems including the processes adopted for health, safety and management. The certification is awarded only if the organization complies with the highest safety and production standards and employs quality management systems in operations, productions, and management.

Atlas battery holds the privilege of being the first one in the battery industry to be awarded IMS certification. Speaking on this momentous occasion, Mr. Ali H. Shirazi, CEO Atlas Battery Limited stated that, “This certification is a result of hard work and dedication of the entire ABL team and we are proud to receive this accreditation. The IMS certification implies that our customers can have greater trust and confidence in their preferred brand. We will continue to set higher benchmarks to achieve”

It is also notable that ABL has taken another environmental friendly initiative to develop a water treatment plant at its premises for the recycling and proper disposal of the wastewater
